The smaller 10.125 Inch front rotor for cars that do not need the braking capacity of the 11 Inch, or where clearance inside the wheel rules out the larger diameter. At 0.315 Inch thick it is also the thinner of the two, so it takes a further bite out of rotating weight for classes and tracks where outright stopping power is less critical than acceleration.
