| The "USAC Triple Crown Showdown" at Williams Grove
Speedway for the ARDC/ USAC Eastern Midgets continues on Friday night with
the USAC Silver Crown Championship "Ted Horn-Bill Schindler
Memorial." Friday midget racing makes it's debut at Bakersfield's Kern County Speedway, with a open competition event. The track promoters has posted a good purse, and informed media if they receive a good car count, and favorable fan attendance more events will be scheduled this season. Plans are for open dates that will not conflict with previously scheduled USAC Western or BCRA events. NEMA resumes its schedule on Saturday at New Hampshire's Star Speedway. The track hosted NEMA's season opening event in May with Avery Stoehr, capturing the victory. POWRi/All Star Midget Series return to Valley Speedway on Saturday. |
