Saturday greeted us with some much better weather and with a pit full of cars, we were ready to get the night going. We drew heat race #4, the last heat race of the entire night. It was the toughest heat, but we were able to set quick time which would line us up 4^th. In the heat, we got a good start and were able to grab 2^nd coming out of turn 2 and, despite our best efforts, we just weren’t able to catch the leader. After the re-draw, we lined up 7^th for the start of the feature and decided to try a couple things with the set up that unfortunately hurt us and we wound up with a 12^th place finish. We learned from what we tried and will get back to a couple local tracks this weekend with Bloomington and Lawrenceburg!
